The importance of Evaluation in the Learning Process.

Education is a fairly long process, where evaluation is used as a systematic, permanent and objective need, which helps guide the student based on the examination of the results with respect to the stated objectives. Where through assessment, the teacher can give the reality of his students.

Evaluation is a systematic activity or process of identifying, collecting or processing data on educational elements or facts, with the objective of first evaluating them and, based on said evaluation, making decisions (García Ramos, 1989).

That is why the evaluation is characterized by being a process, where information is collected, then interpreted and we consider the results obtained, which can be given as a numerical qualification, but requires an evaluative judgment that allows the teacher make pertinent decisions according to each case or need to guide his actions directly to the requirements of the students.

With all of the above, it can be stated that evaluation has a great and broad role within everything that corresponds to the entire scope of the educational system and that thanks to this, it can be verified whether the participants of a course achieved the goals and objectives that were set from the beginning, being a strategy that provides greater support to students, and that thanks to the methodologies they are strengthened in the teaching-learning process, effectively.
